I'm attempting to take up painting again. Time whizzes by when I do so. High on music, letting the colors wash over. I forget what a rollercoaster ride it feels like when I'm doing it. I LOVE it, then I HATE it, despise it, then adore it. I feel oddly out-of-body...and what better escape then to be outside of yourself....

jammin: Bathwater - No Doubt

Sooo, lastnight was the No Doubt concert and it was AMAZING!! The first CD I ever owned was Tragic Kingdom and I was JUICED that they played a majority of songs from this album, as well as "Running" and "Bathwater," 2 of my faves! They are so much fun to watch- and such obvious chemistry! Gwen Stefani is gorgeous- she has this incredibly sexy and funky androgeny about her that she has always stayed true to. And her sultry, rock voice makes me melt like a popsicle on the Fourth of July, tehee.

I'm back, world.
